NOMINATE YOUR FAVORITE PROFESSOR

Students are invited to encourage excellence in teaching by nominating an outstanding professor for the 2009 President’s Excellence in Teaching Award.

Nominations may be based on the teacher’s knowledge of subject/discipline, ability to impart that knowledge, sensitivity to students’ needs, enthusiasm, use of technology, advising, or other qualities you value.

Nomination letters or emails must be received at the Office of the Provost by 5 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009, and are limited to one per student. Nomination letters and emails will be shared with the nominee who may accept the nomination by submitting specified information. Up to three recipients will be selected and recognized through campus news media and each will receive a $2,500 award.
