MSU STUDENT RESEARCH CELEBRATION

Greetings MSU Students,

We are now accepting abstract submissions for the 2009 MSU Student Research Celebration! Graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines are invited and encouraged to submit an abstract to present their research and creative activities to the campus community at the Student Research Celebration on Tuesday, April 14th. Graduate and undergraduate students may submit abstracts electronically via the Undergraduate Scholars Website:

Deadline for abstract submission is Friday, March 6th.

Re: Great Opportunity for Student Athlete Involvement

· Please consider the distribution of this memo to student athletes for involvement and leadership opportunities throughout campus.
Involvement in student government through senate positions enables students to become part of the decision making process at Montana State University. Students will have the ability to grow professionally through on campus networking, aide in the allocation of a million dollar plus budget and affect change for current and future bobcats.
Applications are now being accepted for the following elected student government positions:
Off Campus- 4 seats
On Campus- 3 seats
Greek- 1 seat
Family/Graduate Housing- 1 seat
At Large- 2 seats
President/ Vice President
Students applying for senate positions must live within the district in which they are applying. The application fee is $5.00 for Senate applicants and $10 for President/Vice President applications.
Applications are due to the ASMSU office in SUB 221 on February 23rd at 5:00.
A mandatory meeting will follow directly after the close of application.Elections will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 10th and 11th.

Volunteers Needed - Counts as A.L.L. Hours!



Volunteers are needed at all of the remaining basketball games, both men's and women's. You will need to be there :30 minutes prior to tipoff and during half time. You will be monitoring the children playing in the inflatables. Please come to the Academic Center to sign up. If you have questions contact your S.A.A.C. Rep or see JT.
